T
he redesign of this apartment was focused on creating a warm, functional, and intimate home through a carefully balanced material palette and precise spatial organization. Within a compact layout, the design introduces a sense of calm and continuity, using natural textures, soft colours, and custom details to make the space feel open, comfortable, and complete.
The main living area brings together the kitchen, dining space, and lounge into one coherent atmosphere. Muted green cabinetry, warm wood tones, woven details, patterned flooring, and soft upholstery create a relaxed interior with a distinct character. The kitchen becomes the central visual element of the apartment, designed to be practical, expressive, and subtly connected to the rest of the space.
Throughout the apartment, oak, rattan, gentle ceramics, neutral walls, and layered lighting were used to create a tactile and welcoming environment. Built-in elements and storage were carefully integrated in order to preserve clarity, functionality, and visual softness.
The result is a compact home with a warm and timeless sensibility – simple, natural, and quietly elegant.
